USN Machine Accountant Training 1966

I was doing some research on the internet the other day (can't remember on what) and inadvertently came across this site and thought some of you might be familiar with this:

When I went through DP 'A' school they taught was control panel wiring and used this manual even though in 1973 it should have been the DP 3 & 2 Training manual.

I taught the school at NAVCOSSACT, wash, DC in '66 and '67. Whole school then was EAM machines with a little bit of computer theory added at the end. Interesting times.

That's the manual I studied for my Ma3 and Ma2 rating. Sometime in the last ten years, I threw it away. I made MA3 and Ma2 so the manual was valuable to me. I also threw away the manual for MA1 and MAC. Same story, I couldn't have made first class without it. Silly statement I suppose, but there were other sources available to study in preparation for the exams.
